SUMMER SCHOOL - June 3 - June 19

Any 8^th grade student interested in taking art in summer school needs to sign up in the high school art room and get a summer school form from the high school office. We will be doing mural work, potters wheel and some drawing. See Mrs. Parsley if interested.

ALL library books are due back this Friday, May 10^th.

Searching for the perfect Mothers’ Day present?! Gift your mother with an afternoon of free time and come out to the Puxico Gaming Club end of the year Magic tournament in the cafeteria THIS Sunday. It starts at 2 PM, but get there a little early so we can start on time. $5. Everyone receives a prize. Brought to you by the Perryville Gaming Center.

Congratulations to the Beginning Band for receiving straight 1 ratings at the Dexter MS Contest this past Saturday.

ART on the MOVE - Students currently enrolled in grades 3-6 (next year's 4th-7th graders) can sign up for summer school art if they are not "required" to attend summer school for other classes. Projects: soda Can Critters, Wind up toys, Whirligig Birds, etc.

Yearbook staff needs pictures of junior high girls basketball team playing. If anyone has pictures that they would like to be used in the yearbook please send them electronically to jdavis@puxico.k12.mo.us or send them by flash drive to Jeff Davis.

Any junior high student who would like to take Spanish in Summer School, please let Mrs. Moll know or pick up a summer school form and fill it out and turn it in. This will be the last year for Spanish in summer school. Come out and join the fun.

8^th grade students entering high school may enroll in high school summer school to earn ½ credit or work on A+ hours. You may pick up a form in the high school office.

Students are not allowed to leave the cafeteria with a drink (soda, Gatorade, etc.) Starting today (Wednesday) students who have a soda out of the cafeteria will be asked to throw it away, if students refuse they will be given an ODR and sent to the office.

May 16 - Kgt. Graduation in the gym at 6:30 p.m.
