We’re excited to welcome our students and families back for the new school year! Join us for Open House on Monday, August 18, from 5:00–7:00 PM. This event is for all grade levels and is a great chance to:

➔ Meet teachers, drop off school supplies, and visit classrooms

➔ Let your child give you a tour of their school

➔ Catch up with friends and classmates before the first day

➔ Capture beginning of the year photos with staff and friends

➔ Grab a hotdog, soda, and refreshments, cafeteria(courtesy of Puxico PTO and Puxico R-8 School)

➔ Finalize transportation plans with teachers for students in grades K-5 and with office personnel for junior high aged students. Meet with the transportation department and confirm route numbers and discuss any changes.

➔ Meet the cafeteria director, Ms. Brandy Moore

➔ Visit with our Parents as Teachers leader, Mrs. Jenny Mitchell

➔ Check in with the school nurse, Ms. Jessica Benson, drop off shot records or provide other medical updates.

➔ Visit with the Puxico Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and make plans to get involved.

➔ Register children with MoChip coordinated by Doug Lowery and the Puxico Masonic Lodge. More information will be provided once the event details are finalized. Find our more about MoChip at www.mochip.org
