Puxico R-8 School is pleased to welcome Mr. David Barani back to lead our junior high and high school band and music programs. Mr. Barani brings experience, dedication, and a passion for music education that will enrich the opportunities available to our students.
Mr. Barani returns to Puxico with a combined 18 years of service in music education, along with 25 years of musical performance experience.
During his previous tenure with Puxico School, his programs thrived while producing skilled and award winning musicians, as well as high school graduates who successfully pursued post-secondary musical education opportunities. Many of his former students remain active in music today, utilizing the lifelong skills they developed under his instruction.
Mr. Barani, his wife Tammy, and their daughter Ella reside in the Cape Girardeau area, and we are excited to have him rejoin the Puxico family.
