Big shout out to Dr. Potter from SEMO for visiting us today, performing some bassoon, telling us about SEMO, and working with our woodwinds!

Help Us Stock Our Community Blessing Box! 🧡🖤

We are collecting canned goods and other nonperishable food items for our Community Blessing Box. Any donation, big or small, will help provide food to local families in need. These items can be dropped off at the elementary or JH office.

Suggested donations include canned vegetables, fruit, soup, pasta, peanut butter, cereal, and other shelf-stable items.

Our High School Cross Country athletes competed in their first meet today, and we couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of them!

IT IS ALMOST TIME… BACK 2 SCHOOL!
Join us for the Puxico R-8 School Back 2 School Picnic & Open House for students and families in Pre-K through 12th grade!

⏰ 5:00–7:30 p.m.

📸 First Stop - students who have not had their fall yearbook picture taken should plan to have it completed that evening. Tiny|Soul will be set up in the ARG Lobby.

🌭 Let us do the cooking! Thanks to Puxico PTO, you can enjoy free hot dogs, chips, and a drink while visiting with your child’s teachers and preparing for a great school year. Kona Ice will also be available for purchase!

While you are here, families can:
• Meet teachers and tour the buildings
• Communicate student arrival and departure plans
• Check in with the Transportation Department
• Visit with our school food service program
• Turn in immunization records
• Drop off school supplies
• Drop off locker supplies for high school students
• Pick up yearbooks in the cafeteria
• Take fall yearbook pictures with Tiny | Soul in the ARG Lobby

Please plan to take school pictures before or after the meeting times.
Important meeting times:

🧡 Kindergarten families will meet at 6:00 p.m.

🖤 Fourth-grade families will meet at 6:30 p.m.

🧡🖤All other students can pop in the classroom.

The school community would like to thank First Baptist Church, the volunteers, all of the individuals, each organization, and the service providers that made today’s Back2School Bash a success!

An estimated 150-180 kids received school supplies and 58 completed sports physicals, setting a record for this event.

Thank you for loving our kids, sharing your time, and providing donations. We are very blessed to attend school in our community.

If you are a student in next year's marching band or the parent of one, this is for you:

1. Marching camp dates are July 27-31 and August 3-5 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Camp is the foundation of everything we do, we need you there!

2. Homecoming Parade is August 15th (we'll meet at 8:30 AM).

3. According to MSHSAA all students must have a physical. Let us know if you need help with this.
4. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE join the Remind: HS Band @fff4ggf, Leadership @37fdfkf, Parents @puxicob.

5. It takes a village, and we need your help! Please email Mr. B if you are willing to help in any way. Right now we are working on camp meals. If you can donate food from your business, money, or time, please let us know.

Being named the as the SEMOball’s Best Fans says so much about our community. It isn’t just about showing up—it’s about the way you show up.
Week after week, season after season, our stands are filled with fans who proudly wear orange and black, cheer with enthusiasm, support our student-athletes, and represent Puxico with class. That’s something special, and it’s something that doesn’t go unnoticed.
Thank you to every student, parent, grandparent, alumni, staff member, and community supporter who helped make this possible. You create an atmosphere that makes our athletes proud to wear “Puxico” across their jerseys.
As we get ready for another exciting school year, let’s keep the momentum going!
