SCAA tournament games for the JH baseball team may be moved on Saturday, May 1st, to Advance if field conditions don't allow us to play here. Final decision will be made by tomorrow afternoon.

JH softball and JH baseball start SCAA tournaments on Saturday, May 1st. Brackets for each are attached.
JH baseball will play at home against Advance. Second round location will be dependent on results from Saturday. If the boys win they will travel to Bernie on 5/3. If they lose they will host the consolation bracket on 5/3.
JH softball will travel to Advance for their entire tournament which is set to wrap up on Saturday.



The district bracket for our HS softball team is out and ready to roll into action on Monday, May 3rd, at Advance. The Lady Indians take on Eminence at 5:30. #gopuxico


It's a gorgeous day for spring sports! The JH baseball team will host Richland this afternoon, April 27th, for a 4:30 SCAA game.
The rest of the spring sports team will travel to Advance to take on the Hornets at their city park. All games start at 4:30.

Today's baseball game, April 26th, at home has been cancelled.
Softball will travel to Charleston as scheduled for a 4:30 game this afternoon.
JH softball is yet to be determined. Trying to let the field soak up some sun. This game will have a decision by 1:00 this afternoon.

The JH baseball team will play at home for a make up game with Bloomfield this afternoon, April 23rd at 4:30.
The JH softball team's weekend round robin at New Madrid on Saturday, April 24th, has been cancelled due to weather forecasts. No make up is scheduled.

Tonight the Indians pulled a double header in the SCAA Tournament Baseball Tournament. Their dedicated fans bundled up and cheered on the Indians the whole night. The first game came to an early end with a win by the Indians over the Richland Rebels. Colton McCullom worked hard for the Indians on the pitching mound. Senior Nolan Foster retuned to play tonight to help the Indians earn their win. Freshman Ben Jones worked hard on first base to tag some outs.
Then the Indians faced Bloomfield’s Wildcats in a hard fought game. Sophomore Cole Barnfield, freshmen Thomas Burch, and senior Blake Aikey pitched for the Indians in their second game. Sophomore Eric Riddle caught behind home plate the entire night.
It was an exciting night of baseball with double plays, solid pitching, and great catches in the outfield. The Indians had a commanding lead early on in the second game. Junior, David Holyfield and senior Stormy Gaines had crucial catches and plays for the Indians. In the sixth inning the Wildcats attacked the Indians’ large lead earning several runs, making it a tied game. Stormy Gaines scored in the 7th to help the Indians take the lead again 12-11. Bloomfield came back to tie and then take the win.




The Puxico Lady Indians fought hard this afternoon in the SCAA Tournament getting the win over Bell City then turning around & facing Dexter. Senior Alivia Taylor hit an inside the park homerun & Gracie Wilkerson added a triple. All the Lady Indians had the bats crackin’ this evening!





SCAA tournament will carry on as scheduled today, April 21st.
Softball travel to Dexter for a 4:00 game with Bell City.
Baseball travels to Bloomfield for a 4:00 game with Richland.
If either team wins they will play a second game in the same location.

The weather moving in has pushed all SCAA baseball and softball games back until tomorrow, April 21st.
Softball will travel to Dexter for a 4:00 start with Bell City on Wednesday.
Baseball takes on Richland at Bloomfield at 4:00 on Wednesday also.
All JH baseball and softball games have been cancelled for today, April 20th, also.

It's that time of the year. Athletic Awards' Banquet is schedule for Friday, May 7th at 6:00 in the cafeteria. All high school athletes and their guest are welcome to attend.


Although the tournament did not end as the girls would’ve liked on the Puxico end, making great memories is a treasure beyond any other. Here’s a few smiles captured from today. We even captured Senior Gracie Wilkerson pitching to younger sister Lainey Wilkerson on the field today.





Another day of Puxico Softball Tournament play in the books! Congratulations to the Scott City Lady Rams on their 1st place win over the Bernie Lady Mules, the Woodland Lady Cardinals took on Twin Rivers for the 3rd place win & Delta locked down the Lady Indians for the 5th place game. Congrats to the All-Tournament Team this year! Well earned ladies! Congratulations to all the teams today & a big thank you to all the officials on hand as well as all the help to help make the tournament a smooth one.




It’s Puxico Softball time! The Jr. Lady Indians are ready at the concession stand this morning! Come on out to cheer on the Lady Indians today! First game is at 10:30am.




The Jr. High Indian Baseball team faced the Woodland Cardinals this afternoon. The Indians had several good hits early on & jumped out in front with an early lead but the Cardinals came back a little later. Sam Payne started out on the mound with Landon Burchard catching him behind the plate.




The HS Indians Baseball team took on visiting Twin Rivers today on our home field. Seniors Nolan Foster & Blake Aikey paired up for pitch & catch to the Royals.





The Jr. High Lady Indians softball team were excited to play on their home field this afternoon. Paisley Wilkerson took to the mound today with Laney Benson behind the plate. The team had lots of smiles to go around!
