Officer Cowell spent time with our students discussing important topics that help keep them safe and successful. Our K-2 students learned about getting along with others, making good choices, and how to recognize unsafe situations. Students in grades 3-8 participated in valuable lessons about social media awareness and cell phone safety.
We are grateful for community partners like Officer Cowell who take the time to educate, encourage, and invest in our students.
Thank you for helping us build a safer and stronger future for our kids!

Today our third graders learned how to make a healthy layered dessert—yogurt parfaits! Students practiced following directions, reading a recipe, measuring ingredients, and creating colorful layers of yogurt and fruit.
Not only are parfaits delicious, but they are also a great option for a quick breakfast or a sweet treat. The best part was getting to enjoy their tasty creations at the end!
Learning is always more fun when it includes a yummy snack!

As part of their study of insects, students created their very own anthill snacks. They had so much fun learning about ants while making a tasty treat inspired by the tiny creatures they’ve been studying.
Hands-on learning helps bring lessons to life, and our first graders were excited to combine science, creativity, and a yummy snack all in one activity!
What a fun day to be an Indian!

After discussing important locations throughout our community, students worked together to create a giant drawing of our very own town.
From local businesses to community landmarks, their creativity and teamwork were on full display.
What a wonderful way to learn about community, citizenship, and hometown pride!
What a great day to be an Indian!

These students won prizes just for being at summer school! Each week, students are entered into an attendance drawing. If their name is drawn and they are at school that day, they win a prize!
We are so proud of our students for showing up, working hard, and making the most of their summer learning experience. Keep up the great attendance—you never know when your name might be drawn next! 🎁⭐
What a great day to be an Indian!

Students explored engineering skills by making predictions, designing towers, and testing what materials and strategies created the tallest structures. There was lots of teamwork, creativity and learning happening all around. Of course no one could beat Ms. Parsley‘s tower. 🤣🤷🏻♀️ tribe times summer camp is the best!

Students learned about the history of the library, explored all the amazing books, and the best part — they each got to check out their very own books!
Our students had a blast browsing the shelves and discovering new stories.
Thank you to the Puxico Public Library for a wonderful experience! 🧡🖤

The Puxico Class of 2026 gathered with the community for a meaningful and memorable Baccalaureate service as they continue celebrating the final days of their high school journey.
Class President, Logan Crisel, opened the evening, setting the tone for a ceremony centered on faith, gratitude, and the exciting future ahead for the graduating class. Logan Burpo led the opening prayer, reminding everyone of the importance of faith, support, and guidance during this special season of life.
The Class of 2026 was honored to welcome special guest Lawson McLeary, whose singing and guitar performance added a personal and heartfelt touch to the evening. We also appreciate Jim Clark for delivering tonight’s message and encouraging our seniors as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives. His message stressed the importance of making choices that lead to a Godly life and reminded students of the power and goodness of repentance. Miss Ella Dunivan closed the ceremony, bringing a fitting conclusion to a wonderful evening.
A special thank you also goes to Ted Luecke and the Puxico Band for their performances tonight. Your talent and dedication helped make the service even more memorable for our students, families, and community.
Congratulations again to the Puxico Class of 2026. Your school and community are proud of you, and we look forward to all that lies ahead for each of you. Thank you to each person for joining the class for this event. We will have more photos of this class and ceremony as they are available.
