Electronic Device Policy Reminder

This includes Meta Glasses and similar wearable technology, which are considered the same as cell phones, smartwatches, AirPods, and other personal electronic devices. These items are not allowed in school buildings and must be left at home or in vehicles.

Violations will result in discipline consistent with the school’s electronic device policy.

Thank you all for your understanding!

Mrs. Smothers’ 6th grade Social Studies Classes worked at stations, and in groups, while reviewing for their upcoming final. In the stations the students had to put the United States back together, after they were dismantled by “The Wet Bandits,” the Scrooge mixed up all of the states and capitals, and the kids had to rhyme like Dr. Suess’ making a story using the names of states and capitals.

We are so proud of Ms. Parsley’s 4th grade reading class and their reading stamina! 📚✨
At the beginning of the quarter, we set a goal of reading for 15 uninterrupted minutes. We started with just 30 seconds, worked our way up to 3–5 minutes, and even had several close calls where we stopped around 12–14 minutes. Each time, this group was determined to improve!
Today, they knocked it out of the park by surpassing their goal and reading for 22 uninterrupted minutes! 🎉 The students love the challenge and have shared that they feel more focused and engaged in their books. Watching their reading confidence grow has been such a rewarding part of our day! 💙📖

We are so blessed to have Mrs. Jenny! 💛 She pours her heart into making sure our littles have the best opportunities to learn, grow, and have fun!
✨ Did you know? Our Parents as Teachers (PAT) program is available for families with children under age 5. PAT supports early learning, school readiness, and strong family connections through fun, engaging activities and resources.
If you know a kiddo under 5 who isn’t part of our Parents as Teachers program yet, we would LOVE to connect with them!
📞 Contact Mrs. Mitchell or call the school for more information.
Let’s give our youngest learners the best start possible—because learning starts early and should always be fun! 🌟📚

Puxico Parents as Teachers had a busy week! We had Santa at the Library on Thursday night with over 20 families attending. Last Night we partnered with Melody Troutand the Advance Parents as Teachers at their home ballgame with Puxico. Share any pics you took at the events that you want!

Each student’s necklace tells a story 📖✨
Every bead represents a book read, and today Mrs. Simmers’ second graders created their very own reading necklaces to celebrate their hard work and growth as readers. Watching their pride as they added each bead was so special!
This small incentive has already sparked big motivation, and I can’t wait to see how many books they read during the second half of the school year. So proud of these readers! 📚💙

rs. Jones 5th grade ELA class dove into sentence structure by building their own sentence chains! ⛓️
They created sentences link by link and even color-coded each piece to identify complete verbs. Seeing their excitement as they connected each part of a sentence was the best part of the day!
Hands-on learning + creativity = ELA success! 💙📘
