
Boys basketball will hold a nonmandatory practice from 3-4:45 in the Arnold Ryan Gym. Girls basketball players can come in at 4:45 to shoot and warm up.
The JH volleyball team will also be holding nonmandatory practice and conditioning from 3:30-5:30 in the FEMA.

Due to the return travel time for the boys at their away game, the game for tonight at Ellington has been cancelled.
The girls will host 1 home game at 6:00 with Scott City. No fan restrictions for this game.

Weather Watching:


Due to a new weather system bringing in cold temps and possible precipitation after game time tonight the girl's basketball team will not be traveling to Campbell this evening. Girls will practice from 4-5:30 this afternoon. A possible reschedule date for the game to be determined.

With tomorrow's rising temperatures and Campbell being in school as scheduled the girls basketball game is on for Monday, Feb 8th. Girls bus will leave at 4:30. Game time is 6:00. No fan restrictions.
Boys basketball practice will run from 2-4:30 in the Arnold Ryan Gym.

Due to the expected secondary road conditions in the morning when buses go out on the route, Puxico R-8 School will not be in session on Monday, February 8. Many of our routes have multiple turn arounds on gravel roads with the expectation of refreezing of the remaining snow/ice.


The boys travel to Bloomfield this evening for an SCAA conference game. JV starts at 6:00 followed by varsity. SCAA tickets are required for entry. Come out and support our Indians. #gopuxico

Tonight our elementary cheertastics cheerleaders got to show off their new cheers, dances, and jumps at the varsity basketball game! These young Indians had a blast this week working with the high school cheerleaders learning the ins and outs of cheering. #gopuxico

Monday, February 1
Our hard working Lady Indians Basketball Team will tip-off at 6:00 on their home court game against Bloomfield. There are no admission restrictions on this event.
The boys teams are coming off of a full week and weekend of basketball at the SCAA Tournament. The JV & Varsity boys’ teams will be on the road. They travel to Risco and begin their competition at 6:00.
We wish both teams good luck and a special shout out to our Indian Cheerleaders for keeping our crowds pumped! Congratulations to Jacey Kate Parsley on earning all conference in cheer at the SCAA Tournament!
