***Update***
We are in contact with our local agencies and will give updates as roads become safe enough to put buses on them.
The weather was more than predicted by any forecast, and the travel conditions became treacherous quickly. Making it unsafe for buses.
With the warm road temps they believe the snow will be mostly gone or much safer after they treat them. We collaborate with other districts, road departments, and others to try and make the best/safest decisions for our students and staff. At this time staying put seems to be the safest decision.

We understand that our families are seeing a wide range of snowfall amounts. Some have a dusting and some have the ground covered.
We continue to assess the situation and stay in contact with our partners locally to make the safest decisions for our students and staff. From the information that we have, it seems like dismissing early and putting our buses in the road now would actually be a greater risk than dismissing at our normal dismissal time at the end of the day.
Thank you for understanding as we try to take all situations into consideration and do the best that we can.

Varsity had a loss against a thought Bernie team but they will be back in action in the SCAA tournament on Friday. All games can be viewed on the Bloomfield R-14 School District YouTube channel. All of our Indians appreciate your support!
Stay tuned for updates on tournament game times.

Thank you Indian Cheerleaders for keeping our crowd pumped tonight!
