Proudly representing Puxico FFA once again is Freshman Lily Stephens! Lily has worked hard & it shows! Lily’s Shorthorn heifer was the overall Reserve Grand Champion of its breed at the youth expo in Jackson, Mississippi this past weekend. The Youth Expo had over 900 head of cattle from across the mid-south in multiple breeds. Her steer entry received third in his class. Way to go Lily, we are very proud of you!!

The boys travel tonight to Twin Rivers. There are no restrictions on fans. JV starts at 6:00. Tomorrow the boys travel to Zalma for a 6:00 start. Fans must have a pass and wear a mask to enter into the facility.

The lady Indians brought home a win tonight in the Chaffee tournament against Bloomfield. Girls will finish out the tournament tomorrow at 3:30. Passes and mask are required for entry. Good job girls. #gopuxico

The Puxico Hall of Fame committee would like to congratulate the 1961 and 1962 varsity volleyball team on their nomination for induction into the Hall of Fame in February 12, 2021. The team was coached to a 22-0 record by Vernon Massey. Players included Virginia Tanner, Sharon Corder, Lola Crisel, Bonnie Hyten, Sandra Hyten, Virginia Elledge, Bertie Miller, Janiece Peters, Judy Wheetley. These individuals will be recognized at the annual induction banquet on homecoming night. Puxico hosts their first home boys basketball game tonight against Advance beginning at 6 pm. Ticketed guests are guaranteed admittance. We will have a very limited number of general admission seats, so those individuals without a pass are encouraged to stream the game on YouTube on the schools channel at Puxico R-8 School District. According to the City's recommendation, masks are encouraged for those that are unable to social distance. Please use the FEMA entrance.

Lily’s steer earned third in his class and her heifer received Reserve Grand Champion in her class. Outstanding job Lily! We are very proud of you!
